Running an effective electorate campaign takes resources.

Donations help cover the cost of printing, signage, events, travel and compliance so this campaign can reach voters across the Waikato.

This is an independent, electorate-only campaign. Donations are used solely to support campaigning in the Waikato electorate.

Under New Zealand electoral law, donations to an electorate campaign must meet the following rules:

• Donations must come from individuals who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
   
• Donations must be made in your own name
   
• Donations cannot be made on behalf of someone else
   
• Donations from companies, trusts, or overseas persons are not permitted

New Zealand law requires transparency around political donations.

• Anonymous donations are limited under electoral law
   
• Donations over the disclosure threshold must be declared as required
   
• All donations are recorded and managed in accordance with Electoral Commission rules
   

I believe transparency matters. If taxpayers’ money and public trust are involved, people deserve clarity.

Donations to this campaign are used for:

• Campaign materials such as flyers and signage
   
• Community events and meetings
   
• Travel within the electorate
   
• Compliance and administration costs
