About Walt

I’m a farmer, business owner, and community advocate based here in Waikato.

Like many families in this region, I understand what it means to work hard, take risks, and deal with decisions made far away by people who don’t live with the consequences.

I’m standing as an independent because I believe Waikato deserves a strong local voice — one that isn’t controlled by party headquarters, party whips, or political deals.

I believe in hard work, personal responsibility, opportunity for all, and a government that lives within its means.

I’m not entering politics for a career.

I’m entering politics to do the job properly.

Our Campaign Launch

Join Walt for the official launch of our campaign for the Waikato electorate.

Walt will deliver The Waikato Address outlining his vision for the region, the challenges facing Waikato communities, and the priorities he will take forward if elected to Parliament.

This is a grounded, open event focused on substance, not slogans, with time for questions and discussion.
