FWW opens the gate on real Waikato farming , how food is grown with respect, how rules land on people on the ground, and how communities pull together. I’m Walt Cavendish, a Waihou-based dairy farmer, sharing the day-to-day and straight answers without the spin.

What we do
- On-farm: calm stock handling, clean systems, practical water care, and the “why” behind decisions.
- Advocacy: plain-spoken explainers on imports, welfare standards, and fair, workable water rules.
- Community: Rural Chats in halls and sheds across Waihou and the wider Waikato.
- Campaign: Walt is standing for Waikato Regional Council to fix regional basics and deliver value for ratepayers.
